Whether your ideal holiday is to relax in the country, hit the tourist trail, play golf or 'shop till you drop', then this is the perfect base. Situated in the heart of rich arable farmland of West Lancashire, peace and quiet are guaranteed. You will wake refreshed and relaxed to the sound of bird song. Tourist destinations close by include the Victorian seaside resort of Southport, the market town of Ormskirk, Martin Mere Wildfowl Trust and the historic (and haunted) Rufford Old Hall.
Within a 30 minute drive you can be in Blackpool, taking a trip on the River Mersey or visiting one of a whole range of theme parks within the North West Region.
Our central location makes a day trip to the Lake District, the peak National Park the Yorkshire Moors, or even North Wales seaside resort all a possibility.
Liverpool One, Cheshire Oaks, Ormskirk market and The Trafford Centre help make the area a shoppers paradise. There are 10 Quality Golf Courses, including royal Birkdale, within a 10 mile radius and Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs are easily accessible.
